The Challenge
The healthcare network needed a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal that would integrate with their existing electronic health record (EHR) system and provide patients with easy access to their medical information, appointment scheduling, and secure communication with healthcare providers.
Our Solution
We developed a custom patient portal using Angular for the frontend and Node.js for the backend, with MongoDB as the database. The portal features secure authentication, encrypted data storage and transmission, integration with the client's EHR system, online appointment scheduling, secure messaging, prescription refill requests, and access to lab results and medical records.
